I had the opportunity to stay at 4 different brands of hotels this week, Radisson, Marriott, Embassy Suites and Holiday Inn and all of them have taken out the pay phones because people aren't using them.
My need for a pay phone is a symptom of a bigger problem, my memory and or lack of it. I had accidentally left my cell phone in Florida.
This has turned out to be a huge inconvenience. Not only for myself, but for my family and clients. I paused for a moment and thought about a time when there weren't any cell phones.
Like them or not, cell phones are no longer a luxury, they are a neccesity.
Life is just a series of trying to make up your mind.
